SLR service overview for ASSYST
Here you can download the original Mercedes-Benz service checklist for customer service.
The SLR does not differentiate between small (ASSYST A) and large (ASSYST B) customer service, as is common with many Mercedes-Benz models. Additional scopes depend on the age and mileage of the vehicle. You can find more information on this under the heading “Maintenance scopes tailored to your needs”.
Service overview
Tailored maintenance scope tu suit value retention
Exclusively for SLR.CLUB members, Mercedes-Benz has developed various maintenance concepts meeting different needs of frequent drivers, occasional drivers and collectors.
The offer is currently tuned for the German market with its 6 official SLR service center and only valid there (please see location index).
Attention: These maintenance concepts are only recommendations based on empirical values and manufacturer specifications. The exact maintenance requirement of a vehicle can only be determined after a detailed inspection by a technician.
Tip: If a vehicle has been stationary for some time (eg part of a collection) and you want to reactivate the car and drive regularly, the full Mobilo services status can be restored with a „service according to the manufacturer’s specifications“.

Reset service display
Here you will find instructions on how to reset the service display in the instrument cluster manually using the steering wheel buttons.
We point out that the service display should only be reset in extreme emergencies and we strongly advise against overriding or delaying a displayed customer service!
An oil change that is not carried out damages the engine, in the worst case it can lead to complete engine damage. A new unit currently costs over € 130,000.
The idea that an oil change does not have to be carried out as often if the vehicle is only moved very rarely is also a misconception: short-distance operation or occasional starting dilute the engine oil because a lot of fuel gets into the oil. At some point, the necessary viscosity is no longer available, the oil film breaks off and the engine is damaged.
And last but not least, an incompletely maintained service booklet basically has a negative impact on the value retention and resale value of a vehicle!
